The same is true for what energizes me.the biggest thing that energizes me the most is when I get to make something that isn't part of a larger project.something like small, simple painting or a very short 5 minute podcast episode are the kinds of things I try to fill most of my creative practice with. If I finish something, such as a day of busy work or a day of working on a larger specific art piece, and I feel drained, both of those scenarios would be moments where I would consider how I needed to make changes the next time. I am not a naturally high-energy person so it’s something I have to be very mindful of. Morgan Harper Nichols: A big part of how I deal with creative fatigue is being constantly aware of what gives me energy and what drains me. Let’s start with a question that many of us are facing this year - how do you deal with creative fatigue? Goldie Chan: Hello Morgan, thank you for joining us. Nichols shares her findings in the form of art and poetry on Instagram and through various collaborations with Google, Starbucks, Hallmark, and more.
